Christmas Contest 2011

Introduction

This contest is designed to engage Comic Who readers. Participants will be asked to draw an image (sketch, pin-up, strip or whatever you want) based on the Comic Who characters at Christmas. We will not choose the winning image basing on the tecnique or the drawing skills. The most important thing is the Christmas spirit, so we're not interested if you're Bryan Hitch or a 4 years old kid, just try to be Doctor-ish and Christmassy!

Contest Rules
 - The contest will begin at 0:00 AM (GMT) on November 23, 2011 and will end at 11:59 PM (GMT) on December 23, 2011.
 - Images must be sent at comicwho@gmail.com. Images submitted will not be accepted otherwise.
 - All images sent outside of the validity period of the contest will be ignored.
 - No obscenity and/or vulgarity and/or violence will be accepted.
 - Every image must contain at least one of the Comic Who Doctors (Eccly, Tenny or Smithy).
 - No image of Smithy without his bowtie will be accepted (:P).
 - It will be accepted only one image per person.
 - The Comic Who staff will answer every email received by communicating the acceptance of the image or the reasons for which have been refused.
 - Winners will be announced on December 25, 2011 and all the images will be published on the website and on the Comic Who Facebook Page.

Contest Winner Award & Prize

 - The winner will receive an original Comic Who Sketch with our signs and our Christmas wishes.

Rory The Roman

You know, the Doctor Who main character is no longer the Doctor himself. A new rising star has overshadowed him...

I'm a male, but I love him with both my hearts, just one quote: "Would you like me to repeat the question?"

Ok, you know who I'm talking about, the last centurion, the boy who waited, the man who lived more then the Doctor and died so many times: Rory The Roman!!!

A great friend of us (and a great Doctor Who fan), Chiara Cavalli, realized a Rory staff doll for us upon Elisa's design and we want to share with you all the magnificence of her creation! Enjoy the gallery...

Life on Mars versus Doctor Who

It's a wibbly wobbly period for us... Moving to a new home, lot of work, no internet connection for nearly a month and the hottest summer I can remember... I really hope to go back to normality as soon as possible, but now you have to be patient and the Comic Who strips will not be released every monday as before until the end of moving (we're also planning some holidays :D). Anyway, we want to thanks all of you for your great support and love. We reached over 1000 fans on our Facebook page... whooo hooo!!!

Today we are not posting a new strip but a tribute to another british series we love so much: Life on Mars! We really hope you like this because it's our way to thank you for your appreciation in this months. Enjoy!
